Once the European Masters get under way in September, young Hawaiian sensation Michelle Wie will be again taking to the field that includes some of the most dominate players in the world. Not only will she be on a pro course that will be held in Crans-sur-Sierre Switzerland, she will be competing against the men of the PGA, and one PGA star, Ernie Els, thinks highly of Wie.

Wie did however, get a strong endorsement from a high profile player, it was Ernie Els himself that believes Wie will do well in the event. He further believes that she will make the cut once again, as she did earlier this month in a men s event in South Korea.

Els believe that this course is just what 16-year-old Wie needs to excel. The European Masters course is short, and there is a great turn around for Wie as the event is sponsored by Omega, whom just happens to be both Els and Wie s sponsor as well.

Golf caddies are an endangered species in the world of modern golf. It seem that the only time you see a caddie is at PGA events on the television. In this setting you see that caddies are an integral part of the team. You observe them giving valuable tips and insight to the pro as well as carrying the bag, maintaining the golf clubs and accessories. You wonder where the pros find their caddies since there aren’t any at the local courses or country clubs. Its kind of a joke about golf being good exercise these days when everyone rides around on electric or gas powered golf carts.

Golf training aids have become vastly popular with golfers everywhere. Golfers of all ages and skill levels are constantly looking for ways to help them improve their scores and reduce their handicaps.

The playing professionals have the talent and coaching to help them hit massive drives off the tee straight down the fairway, or consistently drop putt after putt in the hole. But, for the average golfer, we have to use a variety of proven training aids to help us lower our scores.

Contacting professional golfers and getting their autograph can be tough. The reason for this is so much money is made from golfing memorabilia that the players have, for the most part, shut their autograph signing habits down. This isn t to say you can t get a golfer s autograph just that you may either need to find the golfer shopping for his groceries, or you need to buy his or her signature from a reputable dealer.

PGA has a deal with a company called Pro Tour Memorabilia to sign for them only. This means that, while other companies can still acquire signatures, the autographs that come from PTM are verified as real (and therefore expensive!).
